Columbia Lakefront Portraits of Brad & Doreen

Brad and Doreen looked so stylish in their wedding finery that we just had to take another set of fabulous photos!  A few weeks after their April wedding, they got all gussied up and we traipsed down to the Columbia Lakefront to capture some romantic sunset portraits.

Brad looked and felt like James Bond, and Doreen was his stunning Bond Girl!  The light was beautiful and we had a ton of fun - everyone down at the lakefront cheered them on, waved and gave them two thumbs way, way up.

Brad & Doreen's Intimate Wedding

This spring I had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Brad & Doreen in Columbia, Maryland!  I have known Doreen since my teenager years when I babysat for her two young sons - so it was with a sense of nostalgia (and slight deja-vu!) that I entered her home on a sunny April afternoon to document her nuptials.

Brad & Doreen were colleagues and best friends at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Maryland for 12 years, always supporting and helping each other.  When they became single around the same time, they each realized that, “The person I’ve been waiting for my whole life is right in front of me.”  And the rest was history!

Doreen's two sons participated in the ceremony - Mac as officiant, and Cameron sung a beautiful ode to the couple.  I was so proud to watch those two all grown up and showering their mother with love - I can only imagine how it must have felt for Doreen!  It was a truly lovely ceremony, with the couple exchanging vows in the center of a circle of close friends and family.

Baltimore Family Portrait Photography • Ellicott City, Maryland

I had an absolute BALL photographing Zinka, Thomas & young Adrian last week  (or was it two?  I've been so busy!) in Old Ellicott City, Maryland.  Despite the chill in the air, they were up for anything.  What I loved about shooting them most was the love between the three of them that is so readily apparent.

Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer • Brett & Katie's Wedding

I had the great pleasure of attending the wedding of two of my favorite people this October - Brett & Katie!  I wasn't the official photographer so I kept my photo taking short & sweet (with the go-ahead of their lovely photographer, Kelly Hahn, of course ;) )

I did manage to get a couple of sweet shots however!  Here's a few of my favorites.

Baltimore Maryland Family Portrait Photographer - The Bell Family

Two weeks ago, it was a freezy-cold Saturday morning when the Bell Family (Ian, Lauren, and little Maxim) met me in Historic Ellicott City, Maryland for a fun, casual photo-shoot of their precious family.

They are to be commended for being such troopers, keeping a 9 month old baby boy happy and giggly in such cold weather!  We snapped a couple of pictures, then slipped inside a few shops - Maxim was fascinated by all the beautiful shiny things!  Then, after he lost his little grey beanie we popped my red one on him instead - such a cutie, he rocked it.

Last week I had the opportunity to take Brett's headshots - he is the wonderful fiance of the beautiful Katie, one post down. :)

He's another one that doesn't love having his photo taken...well, unless he's making ridiculous faces!

I think the first shot below will get him a lot of work, eh?  Loving it!
