I saw Natasha (Baby T to her friends) in a crowded movie theater this summer with a gaggle of her students and her style & personality just popped out of the background. I stared in awe at her amazingly intricate, colorful hair and thought, "I think I need to photograph this girl...". Then she turned around to laugh at a student's joke and I knew that I HAD to take her portraits!
To my delight, it turned out Natasha was about to embark on an exciting songwriting tour of America and was in need of headshots. "You gotta do this, Miss T!" Her students urged - so we had a wonderfully creative (if stickily hot) shoot at
Downs Park in Pasadena, Maryland.
